This section collects our technical guides and buying notes on grain processing equipment: how a milling section is put together, how to size a machine, what wears out and when, and how to specify a replacement part that actually fits. The articles are written for the people who run and maintain the plants, not as sales literature.

WUXI HASEN IMPORT AND EXPORT CO., LTD is a China-based supplier and export partner for flour mill machinery, rice mill lines, feed and flaking equipment, bulk handling systems, spare parts and food-grade materials. We do not manufacture the machines, and the guides here are honest about where the limits of a specification are, and where the practical answer is a setting change rather than a new machine.

What the guides cover

The material falls into a few recurring themes, because the same questions come up from mills in every market we serve.

  • Specifying a section - how capacity, grain type and the number of working hours translate into a machine list.
  • Equipment explainers - what a roller mill, plansifter, purifier, huller, pellet mill or flaking machine actually does in the line.
  • Maintenance and wear - which parts wear on a schedule, what the early symptoms look like, and what to stock.
  • Process problems - why extraction drops, why pellets lose durability, why flakes come out uneven, and how to work backwards to the cause.
  • Sourcing notes - what to compare between suppliers, and which documents should travel with a shipment.

How to use a guide before you buy

Most of the value in these articles is in the questions they make you ask before a quotation is meaningful. A guide on roller mills will not tell you which machine to buy, because the right machine depends on the passage it serves, the wheat you mill and the flour grade you sell. What it can do is make the conversation with any supplier more precise, which usually reduces both the risk and the cost of getting it wrong.

Read the section that matches your duty, note the variables that apply to your plant, and then compare offers against those variables rather than against the headline capacity figure. A machine rated at the same tonnes per day as another is often not interchangeable with it.

Categories you may want to start from

If you already know which part of the plant you are working on, the equipment sections are the shortest route to the relevant detail:

Who the guides are written for

The articles assume you know your own plant and want the technical detail rather than a general introduction. Mill managers, maintenance planners, project engineers and buyers sourcing equipment for a new line all use the same material for different reasons, so the guides avoid both sales framing and academic depth. Where a topic depends on conditions we cannot know from here, we say so and describe what to measure instead.

What we do not do

We do not publish capacity guarantees for a machine without knowing the product and the duty, we do not quote performance figures for equipment we have not seen applied to your material, and we do not name other suppliers in our writing. Where a guide mentions an alternative approach, it describes the approach rather than a brand.

How we work with you as a supplier

Our contribution is on the specification, sourcing, inspection and logistics side of the transaction:

  • Requirement definition - we start from your duty and capacity, not from a fixed catalogue.
  • Machine and part matching - for replacements we work from dimensions, photographs and part numbers.
  • Inspection before shipment - dimensional checks, function tests and photographic records of the actual unit.
  • Documentation - packing lists, invoices and shipping papers prepared to match the consignment.
  • Consolidated shipping - machines, spares and accessories combined into one shipment where the plan allows.
  • After-sales support - installation guidance, commissioning support and a route to reorder the same wearing parts.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use these guides to choose a machine on my own?
They will help you ask better questions and recognise a weak answer, but the final selection depends on your grain, your target product and your existing layout. Send us those three things and the recommendation becomes concrete.

Do you write about equipment you do not supply?
Yes, where it is relevant to the process. A guide that only covered what we sell would not be useful to someone running a mixed plant.

Can you write about a specific problem in my mill?
Usually yes. Describe the symptom, the equipment involved and what changed before it started, and we will work through it with you and publish the general lesson where it is useful to others.

How often is the material updated?
When we learn something on a project that changes the advice, or when a question keeps coming back from buyers. The guides are working notes rather than a fixed handbook.

Talk to us about your process

If a guide raises a question about your own line, send us the capacity you are targeting, the grain or product you are processing and a photograph or drawing of the existing plant. We will come back with the equipment list, the options that matter and the questions that still need answers.

Importing machinery: where to start

Most of the questions we get come after the machine has been chosen and before it reaches the plant. These guides cover the first steps:

All seven guides are collected on the importing guides page.
